lmao sit down friend because i am about to tell you a thing or two

first of all, Cat Valdes is a hardworking independent youtuber and has been six years. for the past six years, she has built up her channel completely on her own and her channel is still continuing to grow, with over 570,000 subscribers - which she earned on her own. 

i find it really funny that you’re accusing Cat of using Dan and Phil “for views” when a) she only has 4 videos on her main channel with them, b) out of her three videos with Dan and Phil only TWO of them are in her top ten most viewed videos, and c) out of her three videos with Dan and Phil only ONE of those are in her top five most viewed videos.

so let’s consider the following - four videos with these two people you’re accusing her of using just for views, out of 350 she’s done with other people but MOSTLY on her own. personally, if i was trying to use someone for views i would not only do more than one video a year with them but i would probably have them feature me on their channels as well, right? especially since combined, they have many more subscribers than she does, and arguably get a handful more views than she does (sorry Cat, but the numbers do not lie) - wouldn’t it make sense that if she were using dan and phil for views, she would want to be seen on their channels? 

join me as i look through Dan and Phil’s videos - oh wait, i don’t have to because they do not have a single collab with Cat on either of their (combined) five channels. in fact, the closest Cat has even come to being on Dan and/or Phil’s channels is when Phil mentioned her for about five seconds in his video where he’s going through his photos on his phone. 

now, if it were me, i would definitely want two youtubers with a combined 6.6 MILLION subscribers to feature me on their channels at least a couple of times IF i were in fact using them for views. 

also correct me if i’m wrong, but have Dan and Phil even told their subscribers to check out Cat’s channel? because i’m pretty sure they have not. 

so consider this: if Cat truly is using Dan and Phil ONLY for views, don’t you think she’d do a better job at it? surely if she were going to mooch off of her friend’s fame, she’d be a bit better at it? 

oh wait, maybe it’s because she doesn’t want Dan and Phil’s subscribers, and she wants to earn her own???? have you ever considered that friend??? because from where i’m standing, it seems as though Cat is an indepentent being fully capable of earning her 570,000 subscribers (and counting) completely on her own. 

but no, you’re right she’s TOTALLY using two of her best friends for youtube views. she’s TOTALLY only making collabs with someone she’s been friends with for 7 years not because she cares about him or anything! she’s TOTALLY using a person she’s been friends with for about four years because of his subsciber count, not because he’s one of her favorite people in the world or anything! 

so don’t even try and come for Cat, okay? because she is a talented, intelligent, hardworking woman who deserves everything she gets but not only that, who earns everything she gets.

oh, and last time i checked it’s completely possible to be friends with someone in the same line of work as you who has more subscribers than you do.

i mean, look at Dan and Phil - Dan has pleanty more subscribers than Phil does and they just filmed a video together on Phil’s channel and Dan appears in more of Phil’s videos than the other way around, are you going to try and tell me that Phil is using Dan for subscribers? because that’s clearly the way your brain works, since you think that people cannot be friends with each other without having alterior motives. 

it’s not Cat’s fault if people are going to watch some of her vlogs or her four total videos feature Dan and Phil only because Dan and Phil are in them, but don’t you dare say that Cat is using two of her best friends for views. it’s not her fault that she’s friends with two very poplular youtubers and it certainly is not her fault that people, such as yourself, cannot see her as an independent being and decide to only view her as someone who only cares about views and subscribers, instead of making original and independent content.
